Subsidy

As of September 1, 2021 families in Alberta with children enrolled in a licensed preschool program who have a household income of less than $90, 000 are eligible to apply for a subsidy of $125 a month.

Changes to the baseline household income requirements are expected to be released in early 2022, meaning that families with a higher household income will qualify thanks to upcoming support made possible through the Alberta-Canada Early Learning and Child Care Agreement.
